Unprofessional Investigation Approach by the Nigeria Army on the OWO Massacred

OWO MASSACRE AND LACK OF PROFESSIONAL INVESTIGATION:
The recent statement by the Nigeria military naming the five suspect as ebira.
This is not only insulting but has show the lack of proper military and security intelligence by our government
This is also an attempt to cover up the real culprits and ignite ethic conflict between the ebira and there host community in owo.
We ask the following question from the military and the ondo state government.
1.The accused suspect are the same people the Nigeria correctional service accused of recently escaping from kuje prison. And the owo incident happened long before the kuje jail break. Did those suspect freed from prison to commit those crime and later return to prison before the kuje jail break?
2.immediately the incident happened the Nigeria minister of interior Rauf Aregbesola accuse iswap of brain behind the attack. Why is the same minister become silent since the military released there statement?
3.the amotekum in ondo state paraded 71 suspect on 23 June 2022 which they claim took part in the attack in owo non of this suspect was ebira.and what happened to those suspect ?
.all the picture released by the military show that all the five suspect are all in prison uniform. which court of law did they take them to before there were taking to prisons because all suspect must be taking to court. And there must be court order before any suspect can be taking to prison before they start wearing prison uniform. Which shows that all those mentioned by the military are all prisoners who escaped from kuje as earlier stated.
I call on the ebira traditional council of chiefs and all ebira people in government at various level to rise against this tribal terror name tagging while we urge the Nigeria security agency to always conduct proper findings before issuing public statement to avoid self embarrassment and lost of citizens confidence in the systems.

ReplyDelete1) Two months ago, the Internal Affairs Minister, Aragbesola announced that it was ISWAP that carried out the attack in the Catholic Church in Owo.
2) Few days Later, the Amotekun vigilante group arrested some men paraded as the attackers of the Owo Church worshippers.
3) As in the picture below, the Nigerian Correctional Service (prisons) released pictures and names of inmates that escaped from the Kuje prison after Boko Haram/ISWAP attacked the facility.
4) This week, the Nigerian army released pictures of people they claimed to have attacked the Owo church and sadly Mr Idris Ojo who was alleged to be in Kuje Prison as at the date of the attack finds himself in the Army list.
5) Idris Ojo who is in the escaped prison list is the same person in the army list. It can be correctly concluded that this man cannot be in two places at the same time.
6) The army authorities must investigate their source(s) and punish any officer(s) who deliberately wanted to dilute the magnitude of this heinous crime, cover the real identity of the perpetrators and thereby bringing the Nigerian army into disrepute.

ReplyDeleteIt was a fixed up, and the military has clarified this yesterday. The guy was re arrested in ayetoro in Ondo State but the remaining four suspects were actively involved. Amotekun never said they arrested any suspects. I watched the said parades. Those they paraded that day were suspected kidnappers, army rubbers and host of others. When he was asked about Catholic Church incidents, he said they trailed them to where they abandoned the vehicle used in carrying out the operations and some sensitive informations were retrieved from the vehicle and it was going to assist them in their investigation. You just have to face the reality. The bad among us participated in that operations.
