Men Are Born To Stand, Fight and Die. They have NO CHOICE. 

The people of Ukraine were busy living their lives. And then Putin said, "hold on guys, I want your lives". He launched an unprovoked war against them.

Rockets, missiles and bombs began to fly everywhere. 

Already, 137 Ukrainian soldiers are dead. Most likely higher now.

Naturally, ordinary defenseless citizens must flee to safety.

A refugee situation is underway. 

Poland to the rescue.

Tens of thousands of Ukraine citizens have fled to Poland for refuge. 

Ukraine is out-manned and outgunned. 

Ukraine needs fighters and defenders. 

So Martial Law was announced by the Ukrainian Government. 

Men between ages 18 and 60 MUST NOT be allowed to flee for safety.

They must pick up arms and fight!

Only women and children are allowed to flee.

Already, 18,000 machine guns have been handed to male citizens to defend the territorial integrity and freedom of Ukraine. 

And then I wondered;

Where is equality of the sexes?

Where is gender equality?

I thought both men and women were supposed to be equals and that gender roles are patriarchal?

The truth is plain for all to see in war situations. 

Men and women ARE NOT equal.

Men just like women have fear, but in times of war they must be FORCED to carry arms and fight.

Their choice of refusal is taken from them.

Even 18 year old boys.

So while a 40 year old woman is allowed to walk and flee, an 18 year old boy must stand and fight.

Folks, this shows that even an 18 year old boy is not the mate of a 40 year old lady when tough times come. They are NOT equals.

This is REAL LIFE, not a Movie.

Chimamanda Adichie and all the feminists in the world can rant against Patriarchy from now till eternity, but REALITY doesn't give a damn about your feminist sentiments.

Reality is what it is.

Feminists cry a lot about personal choice and body autonomy. That's the right to control their own lives and bodies.

Men unfortunately do not have such privilege. 

When tough times come, men lose their choice and body autonomy. They are FORCED to die for the greater good. The women who stand to fight CHOOSE to do so. 

And yet, you don't see or hear men complaining or protesting. They embrace their fate and die for their mothers, sisters, wives and daughters. 

This is why every woman regardless of her age should respect every boy or man out there. 

We simply do not have the choice that they have. 

Men are fearful. Men are anxious. But men must fight, not flee.

The day I learned that majority of those who fought and died in the Second World War were young MEN between ages 18 and 20 was the day I knew I couldn't afford to die a coward.

All men deserve some respect from women.
