As INEC Continue to announce the result of Edo State governorship election which show that incumbent governor Godwin Obaseki of the PDP pulled the total number of 307,955 votes while Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the APC got 223,619 votes from 18 local government area of the state  Messrs Ize-Iyamu and Obaseki are the main candidates in the governorship election, although 14 candidates are taking part in the election. Governor Godwin Obaseki of the People Democratic Party PDP beat  his opponent Pastor Ize Iyamu after results from  all the 18 Local Government Areas was announced  with a difference margin of 84,336 votes.
