Kyari who is formerly the Deputy National Chairman (North) took over the party’s leadership in acting capacity hours after Senator Abdullahi Adamu resigned as the party’s national chairman. In line with the party’s constitution, if a national chairman resigns, the deputy national chairman from the zone would take over in acting capacity. Kyari led some members of the National Working Committee (NWC) into a meeting currently taking place at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja amid tight security. Kaduna Network for Ododo 2023 weekly meetings was held on 15th July, 2023. Sensitive issues were discussed.
